We're excited to announce that today we joined the family of K&B music. We look forward to working with them and what the future holds!

We're excited to announce that today we joined the family of K&B music. We look forward to working with them and what the future holds!

We will split two shows, back to back, April 21 and 22, w/ a NYC band called 'Gangstagrass'. Turbo has known band leader 'Rench' for years when they both started their hip hop fusion. Rench's angle was orignially country/hip hop but now has a bluegrass band w/ himself on beats/vocals and an emcee. We can't wait to collaborate and see what the future may hold for more. More info can be found on our 'calendar' tab. Hope to see you there!
Those of you on our email list have heard us talk about being involved with a banjo documentary this past summer. We'll join the likes of Bela Fleck, the Carolina Chocolate Drops, and Pete Seeger to name a few. Turbo also scored a good portion of the film.
The film was produced by award winning film maker Steve Crump and company. Steve has garnished five Emmy's for past projects.
This piece, 'Sojourn of the Strings', traces the roots of the banjo from Africa to America. It will premiere Thursday, November 18, at the Mint Museum of Art in Charlotte, NC.
A reception and screening are planned starting at 6:30pm. RSVP to Pat Meyer at (704)-371-8801 to reserve a seat.
We're honored to be included in this and look forward to seeing it on the screen!

No worries, we're still here! We're only doing a few select shows this fall/winter to finish CD production (and possibly scoring a documentary we're involved with. More details forthcoming when it's clear to release them).
That's the latest scoop!
We're planning a European tour for the near future. It's a tall order and if it's to happen we'll need some help. Contacts such as promoters, festivals, clubs, house concerts, etc. would be great.
We notice that we get a lot of overseas visitors to this site and would love to hear from you. If you can provide any leads or contacts that pan out we'll reward you!
Our target regions are Switzerland, Germany and possibly France, however, we are open to other regions in Europe (and out of).
If you have any information please use the 'contact' tab for email links. Thanks!

Recently the Winston-Salem journal's fine entertainment publication, 'Relish', did a nice article on us. The paper copy had yours truly on the cover and a nice two page spread. You can find the online article here on Banjoman Dan's blog.
